I joined the Sea Scouts in 1958, and the Navy in 1965. Commissioned in 1969, Retired in 1988, but wished I had not.
Loved Jade Rooster. I have spent over 8 years in the Far East, mostly Jpan, but also the PI and Korea. Jade Rooster taught me a great deal, and brought back many memories, concluded Long Boat races as a Sea Scout.
I don't have the imagination to write novels, but I written two books about my career in the Navy where I was one of the first 24 designated Space Operations Specialists, after a career where I participated in SIGINT ops in all 3 venues . . .
